Santa Catarina convention: AniVenture!

Hi, people! How're ya doing? I'm... well. I kinda like don't speak about it. But, well, let's talk about what matters: let's talk about AniVenture!!!

The truth is I had always wanted to go to this convention, but never had the chance. Untill this year. Me, plus some friends (as in RachAsakawa, MoVampie and Atahualpa) went to the con, because REASONS. To make things better, we had Lilithy with us, as she was having a speech at the con ;) So much love ♥

Sooooo, I was super ansious, dying to see what the con would offer and get there as soon as possible. I decided to finish my Arcade Sona cosplay one week before the con and even make a skit (which I don't know if I'll share anywhere). I made everything in a hurry and thanks to Chisame, everything was ready at time (mainly the Sona etwahl, that was the prop that got me more worried)

So, after packing everything in a really big box, meet Monica at the airport (and even almost going to the wrong airport...), to travel about forty minutes praying that my etwahl would get in one piece at Navegantes City, keep myself shut in the taxi because I just hate talking with taxi drivers (yep, I let them speaking alone), check-in at the hotel, go to Subway to have dinner......................... The great day has come.

We woke up kinda early to get to the place at a reasonable hour and get to the cosplay show at time. We had breakfast at a local bakery near the con place and I have discovered ChocoLeite, a chocolate milk beverage that was made by the Ancient Gods and put on Santa Catarina; beverage that I'll miss forever. We walked to the con and everything went pretty fine. We put our cosplays -- She as Sylia Stingray, from Bubblegum Crisis and me as Koto from YuYu Hakusho. Lotsa people didn't recognize me, but some others did and took pictures!! I also discovered that my boot capes REALLY do work, I just have to get them fixed to the place. Well.

The con is lovely. Really! Even being with a really deep (?) cleveage (I... well... lost some weight, so the costume is kinda... baggy and falling) no one had being unrespectful and people even clapped when I went to the stage and had complimented my costume! (really, if this isn't love, I don't know what it is). After, I took some pics with my cosplay group, enjoyed the con and tryed to make some quests (and failed D:). So, when this day of the con ended, we all went to a pizza place called Dinossauro (Dinosaur in portuguese), where everything was Dino-themed. They even had a dinosaur plushie hanging on the ceiling!!!

Well, saturday ending, I had recorded my skit audio and had tried to edit my skit until my computer gone low and...............................  I FORGOT THE SOURCE AT HOME. See, I live in Sao Paulo, a place kinda far from Santa Catarina, and........ WELL. I've saved what I got done and them asked RachAsakawa to save me, and as she is a really good and wonderful friend, she had lended me her laptop and I finished the skit there.

YEP, I HAD FINISHED MY SKIT IN THE CON.

GRAUR.

So I put the cosplay, got some things fixed with the help of the best waifu-husbando-staff-MakoChan MoVampie, walked through the con with my etwahl (ok, somethimes Mo walked with it for me) and lotsa people asked for pics \o/! I featured on some cosplay videos and I was even a part of RachAsakawa's speech about girl safety on cons, hehe. I walked a little more in the con, took some pics, make my skit. I didn't win a thing (duh) and even if it was pretty funny I'm really sad with things and don't want to put my feet on stage ever again.

But, in general, what did I think about the con? It was AWESOME!!! Really! The place was fine and the people were incredible. Of course seeing friends from far away and meeting some other awesome people was 10/10 (and even meeting one of my favorite webcelebs, hahaah), but the con organization and staff were super cool. Some things got late? Yes, they did. Did I like to be carrying the etwahl during more time than necessary just because? No, I didn't, but on a con this cool and funny, I think this is a little detail inside a myriad of cool things. :)

So, I just can say that my travel was REALLY WORTH IT, even if I had lost my bank magnetic card and even a T-shirt (!!!), some sleep hours and even more from my dignity. What I have won was so much important that these unfortunate events can not make the things less incredible :)

And 2016 get ready, because I'll be back (probably as Aladdin... And Papillon)

So, I had another con

Hi, everyone! How're ya doin'? I'm fine :) So, I decided to partake in a convention here in my city, one that I normally don't go because it's always on dates when I have another cons to go and sometimes I just get lazy. The place where the con happens it's pretty near my home, so I really get lazy about going... Or maybe I'm just lazy to go to any con after all, hehe.

As always, the con was super nice to be. There were lotsa families there! And, as I'm quite crazy, I've decided to go as Sailor Venus, but I really didn't remember how short was my skirt. Halp. Probably there will be more pics about my butt that about my cosplay #sigh. I really didn't expect, but lotsa people had taken pictures with me, I'm soooooooo happy <3 Really!

Ppl's feedback were just wonderful. I'm still kinda overwhelmed 'cos so many ppl praised my make-up and costume and called me pretty and stuff that i really dunno how to reacto to this. Come on, it's just make-up and lotsa last-minute fixing (I call them "gambiarra", btw), it's not that much! Besides have seeing few friends, I really felt that I had fun and that going to the con was worth it :) ❤

I haven't purchased lotsa things, just a new Hufflepuff botton, 'cos my last one has gone with the wind. And I'm a Hufflepuff. I love Hufflepuff. Come on, best house ever, hahaah.

Hiiiii, everyone!

How're you doing? I'm impressively fine o_o! And really joyous too! Last december I attended to a con we traditionally have here in Brazil, the Ressaca Friends, and I had the opportunity to again be photographed by Shinji-Mamoru, this skilled and talentous guy I love so much Yuuko Happy Icon. And, plus taking photos with him, I've debuted two new cosplays, something I really wasn't expecting. One of them was Tigui, from the Cueio webseries. The other was, finally, Haru ni Sakura Makimachi Misao, a cosplay I'm promissing to myself I'm going to make it for YEARS and never happened. I couldn't be happier! 

And, to make things better, I've got the pics papuchan made of my Souma Shigure cosplay sometime ago *-* Too much cosplaying, this months. 

As a matter of fact, now I'm working on my Nastasia cosplay (yeah, that Super Paper Mario blue girl) now and IT IS REALLY WORKING!!!! I couldn't be prouder of myself *-* Yuuko Excited Icon

Hi-Ya, u all! How're you doing? I'm pretty fine. Busy with work, League of Legends, some stuff I'm writing and details in my personal life. And busy with getting myself into place, because things are being pretty hard to me these days, but... Well, I'll be fine :3

The past weekend (sunday november 09th to be accurate) I've had the opportunity to make a photoshoot with my BFF and waifu at a pretty busy avenue here in São Paulo, the Paulista Avenue. They were in Neon Genesis Evangelion cosplays and guess what? I was the photographer! ♥ We had the help and presence of Ander Fanta as the staff member who carry the bags, haha.

We've took lots of pictures (and I just noticed we had taken like one hundred of them when I started editing them on Lightroom) and had lots of fun (and had eaten pretty yummy food, like the Nutella crepe I've had after our lunch break, where I had a funghi risotto as lunch. Did I already said I just love Nutella? And risotto?)

After the adventure of taking pictures in a such crowded place (with people looking and staring and messing with us and everything), we started to walk around the block, going to lotsa nerd places that the zone has. At the end of the day, we even run into fconrad and jeffduck at a geek store! Squirrel 

So, I'm so happy with the pictures that I've spammed them already here on dA. All the pics I already posted here are on this journal post and all, but if the dudes post another one I didn't have post here, I'll surely attach to this text ;)

Hey, u guys!

It's had been some time, isn't it? I don't even know how to use this thing anymore. What had happened to the homepage anyway? Are they trying to became an art Facebook? To they know ppl are here just because this is not Facebook? Well, lotsa questions.

I hadn't done lots of things these times. I tried to reactivate my main blog -- with no much success --, and had done just one cosplay, that was actually a costume to a party (but, who cares?) and had gone to a online gaming convention. Yeah, soooo exciting #irony 

I'll be uploading some pictures of this new ~cosplay~ soon, (but not today because I should be sleeping, haha), and then I'll fix the pictures here :))

I really thank for all the faves, comments and watches I haven't responded, but my life is quite a mess these days.
